It’s a new season
Please read the following from our Director
Thank you for taking time to read this.
LIV is in a place of financial need. LIV has grown significantly in the last few years. Last year we had over 750 client appointments across our three locations Island-wide. In the last 5 years, we've seen over 620 families come to LIV open to or strongly considering abortion, but after the appointment, decide to keep their baby.
This last year, we increased the hours operating in Hilo and have seen so much fruit like babies saved and families coming to know the Lord. We even hosted a small wedding at our LIV Hilo office last year for a young family that wanted to live rightly in the eyes of God. In the last 5 years, we've grown in impact and honed our vision and strategy.
The challenge is...our financial sponsorship has not yet caught up.
In Hilo, our rent expense greatly increased when specific donors left the island and were no longer able to cover that amount.
We hired a new Nurse Manager (island-wide) to increase excellence and communication with our medical services.
We began paying our Hilo directors a very basic income in order to expand operating hours and grow the vision in East Hawaii
Our overall costs island-wide have grown as the volume of clients has grown.
We need to raise $7000 more a month to keep up with the operating level we are currently at, or we will have to look at scaling back hours and staff members. Our hope is that there are those on the Island who understand the importance of what we do and will come alongside us in this new season.
Our offices being open or closed can mean the difference between life and death for many babies in the womb and we are seeing God breakthrough in families that we believe will bear long-term, multi-generational fruit. Our vision is to see long-term sustainable transformation in families on the Big Island and we’ve only just begun.
How can you help us fund this timely mission?
Mahalo and Blessings,
Kyle and Corrie (Directors)
